New Classes Starting Dec 1st and 2nd

 

BaeBea’s Dog Training has new obedience, rally and tricks classes starting soon at WetDog Wellness Center, 432 SE 91st Ave, Portland. Take a look at the expanded class selection and join a class this month.

Foundation Competition Obedience  Get your dog started on the right paw to a successful competition career.  Work all the exercises needed for the AKC Companion Dog title. This 4 week session emphasizes motivation and precision. 6-6:50 Tuesday Dec 1 -22 – $75 – Register

Advanced Competition Obedience Fine tune your skills at the Open or Utility level. This 4 week session includes Scent discrimination, directional retrieves and distance signaling. 8-8:50 Tuesday Dec 1 -22 – $75 – Register

Rally Obedience In each class we will focus on a few of the signs, learning what the symbols mean and how to correctly perform each exercise. The 4 week session emphasizes team work and having fun while improving your precision in the ring. The session will conclude with practice on a sample rally course. 7-7:50 Tuesday Dec 1 -22 evenings – $75 – Register

Tricks for Commercials and Titles Behaviors covered will be the most requested for in front of the camera. Optional behaviors will be trained that will make your dog more marketable and/or earn your dog a trick title. Class is small for individualized instruction. Bring suggestions for what you want to train your dog. Behaviors covered in past classes include: down with chin on ground, sit up, shake hands, wave, back up, stay with multiple distractions, jump, fetch, play dead, eyes closed, say your prayers, weave through your legs, bark, close eyes, walk slow, go to mark, fast recall, run around cone, crawl. At the end of the 8 week session, any dog that has learned the basic behaviors will have its pictures and bio posted on Feathers & Fur Talent Agency website. 8-8:50 Wednesday evenings Dec 2 – Jan 27 (Dec 23 off) – $150 – Register

NewPuppy Obedience This 8 week class is for puppies 3-10 months of age. Introduce your puppy to the important behaviors needed as an adult dog. Topics covered include taking a treat gently from your hand, not jumping on people, heel, sit, down, stay, come. Frequent play breaks will be allowed for same size puppies with similar temperaments. 7-7:50 Wednesday evenings Dec 2 – Jan 27 (Dec 23 off) – $150 – Register
